The postponed examination of Grade 12 to be conducted from Bhadra 30

Kathmandu, Bhadra 16: The National Examination Board (NEB) has decided to conduct the postponed Grade 12 Board Exam from Bhadra 30. A meeting of the examination board held on Wednesday has decided to conduct the examination in the physical presence of the students at the Home Center from Bhadra 30 to Ashoj 8, said Krishna Prasad Sharma, Controller of Examinations.

The examination center will be set up in the school and will be conducted in the physical presence of the students following the health protocols and social distance prescribed by the Government of Nepal, he said.

The National Examination Board has prepared the necessary requirements for vaccinating the students participating in the class 12 examination and the examination is being prepared for the same reason. In addition, the National Examination Board (NEB) has urged the grade 12 exam appearing students to be vaccinated against COVID-19.

Grade 12 exams have been postponed twice this year. Though it was said that the examination would be conducted from 31st Shrawan, it was stopped at the last moment. Earlier, the schedule of the examination, which was published to be conducted from Baishakh 10, was also postponed due to high corona infection.

A total of 374,000 students are participating in the examination. Spokesperson of the Board of Examinations Jung Bahadur Aryal informed that the examination will be conducted from 11 am to 2 pm. The board had taken the exam for 40 percent assessment last year. But this year, the exam will be taken 100 percent.
