Asian College of Medical Science and Technology (ACOMEST) is an educational institution established by a Chairman/Principle Dr. Govinda Bahadur Shrestha,-MBBS,Punjab/ DCP, London and Former Director of Bir Hospital and Nepal Central Laboratory, with a team of senior and motivated professionals working in health service sector as well as educational and academic field.
ACOMEST is an outcome of a decade -long perception and planning to provide the community with qualified and dedicated human resources in the field of health-care services.
ACOMEST is managed by health professionals, Educationalists dedicated in helping young aspirants to be what they want and dream of the MEDICAL LABORATORY FIELDS from academic year of 2065/66.
ACOMEST is affiliated to Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT) and approved by Nepal Health Professional Council (NHPC) for its certificate program.

The main aim of ACOMEST is to improve and support to the health care system of the community , Government and non Government level by producing scientifically trained Medical Laboratory technical human resources.

Admissions are open in Grade 11 in Science, Management, and Law faculties.
Admission is given on the basis of an Entrance Examination which is mandatory and comprehensive, and your SEE GPA will also play a significant role in getting the scholarship. Subsequently, a one-on-one interview will conducted by the sponsoring college/ institution, which is a must for eligible candidates to attend accompanied by their parents.
Some of our co-curricular activities include debating, elocution, essay writing, painting, drama, project, and excursions.
Our Library is full of text-books, reference books/encyclopedias, and journals/ newspapers/magazines to keep the students well-informed. We have transportation facility as well.

Yes, students should attend on online entrance exam. This is needed to ensure a smooth and fully supported transition to the college and is by no means a “pass/fail” test. Parent interviews will also take place to ensure that their perspectives towards education are logical and relevant for the school’s values and learning goals.

The official pre-admission process begins from Ashadh month every year but as the seats are limited, you will be able to reserve seats prior to the date once you are notified of your selection.

Scholarships are provided on the basis of merit as well as criteria set by National Examinations Board (NEB). Students/ candidates are required to appear in scholarship tests held by the respective institution for which the college admission desk provides you with the dates and time of the test. Since the selection process is transparent, fair and competitive, it is mandatory for all candidates to pass the scholarship tests to acquire a scholarship for higher education.
