Since you have gained a long experience in education sector, how do you analyze the status of education in this area in the past and the present?

Since you have gained a long experience in education sector, how do you analyze the status of education in this area in the past and the present?
Change is the universal process and it is continuing with the pace of time. If we analyze the development of education in Nepal since last 4/5 decades, we find a drastic change. In the past, the teaching pedagogy was completely different from today’s syllabuses. Similarly, there was no uniformity in curriculums, teaching method, examination system and so on. But, at present, the national education policy has brought uniformity in the curriculums and examination system. Moreover, in the past, the availability of qualified human resources was rare, but at present, we have an easy access to the recruitment of adroit human resources in the academic sector. Technical education has also been increasing in a rapid pace. The similarities found in the past and the present are that even today most of the outdated things are given importance as before. Superstitious beliefs are even given priority these days. The education has not much improved in Nepal in the global context.

Could you share with us the historical background of Dhanusha Science Campus?
Dhanusha Science Campus was established in 2054 BS with the aim of providing pure science education to the students of this locality. The college was established by the team of experienced university professors who have expertise in their related field. The campus has a team of qualified, competent and committed university professionals who are motivated to provide education and training to students, building up their self-confidence and preparing them for award-winning careers. 

What are the distinct features of your campus which are rare in other campuses?
Dhanusha Science Campus is purely the science education institution which was established with the view to impart purely science education. It has been established by a team of highly qualified, experienced and dedicated academic professionals. The faculty members are well-experienced, qualified and dedicated academics. The campus runs entrance preparation classes for engineering and medical sectors on Saturdays.

The college is one of the well-established and leading academic institutions in this area. It has some distinct features that make it stand out from the crowd of its contemporaries. We have managed to construct modern buildings with spacious classrooms that promote academic environment amid our learners. The college has demonstrated its outstanding performance through its results and overall quality of the students. The college has been awarded the recognition of the top-most college in the HSEB results of 2065/66 BS. Our graduates are showing their astonishing performances in various fields such as medicine, engineering, government services, sport and so on. Many of them have obtained marvelous achievements in their higher studies inside and outside the country. For this, we have prepared all requisites i.e. physical infrastructure and human resource. We provide moral education along with extra-curricular activities. So, the college has responsibility to conduct career counseling sessions for producing qualified, disciplined, ethical and modern citizen in the future. We are focusing on producing logic-generating human resources by inspiring them to boost up their logical power. What suggestions would you like to give to the Chief Minister of this province for the holistic development of this province through exceptional education?
Education is the foundation pillar for all-round development. So, I strongly suggest the Chief Minister to make school level education (education up to grade twelve) fully free for target groups and compulsory for all. Similarly, education should be made vocational, technical and income generating that transfer relevant skills to the learners. The government should fully guarantee health facilities to a wider network of people and education to all youths by increasing approach in education and health sectors.

Which sectors of education should be focused for the overall development of this province?
This province has high prospects in agriculture sector apart from academic activities. Poultry farming, fishery and cash crops can be developed well here. For this, the government should bring appropriate plans and strategies by bringing diversity in agriculture. Priority for technical education related to agriculture should be given at optimum level for its overall development. In addition, life-changing education is the present need of this province.
