About College
Global Education Academy was established in 2053 BS by a team of eminent academicians and devoted teachers. It is one of the leading academic institutions in Province 1. The college is situated at the heart of the Damak municipality and is imparting quality education in Province 1. It runs classes from playgroup to ten-plus-two level. The school offers an array of course choices in science, management, computer science, humanities and education streams in ten-plus-two level. The institution has around 700 students up to Grade Ten and around 1000 students in different streams of ten-plus-two.
As well as exploring hidden talents of individual students, Global Education Academy believes in providing educational environment and culture to students so that they can adjust themselves in the society. It provides highly qualified and experienced faculty of teachers with vibrant team spirit. It has given equal emphasis on co-curricular and extra-curricular activities with individual care and monitoring. We organize weekly extra-curricular activities, such as singing, dancing, playing musical instruments, quiz contest, elocution, games, sports etc. The institution focuses on the exposure of students and conducts a wealth of competitions and talent shows. Our students have shown their outstanding performance in various inter-school talent show competitions conducted by various organizations. Preeti Poudel, Miss Model icon is our product who is going to participate in Miss International Prank program.
In addition, the main feature of this institution is to impart education in a purely academic environment without giving any physical punishment to students. Another equally important feature of this institution is to conduct training sessions on good parenting and counseling to parents. Not only this, the institution spends more than five million rupees annually on scholarship schemes for meritorious, underprivileged and deserving candidates on merit base and need base.
The college is well-equipped in terms of physical infrastructure. It has ultra-modern computer; physics, chemistry and biology laboratories, a well-stocked library with sufficient text books, reference books, journals and periodicals. Students get equipped with both healthful and academic aspects, such as pure drinking water, transportation, hygienic cafeteria, multimedia-aided classrooms, audio visual etc. Since we have adopted the concept of ‘smart school’, we are going to implement its provisions very shortly.
