Holyland Secondary School—established in 2067 by a group of academic devotees and professionals who had spent a decade in teaching expedition—is a pioneer educational institution in Banke district. Holy Land offers +2 programs in Science and Management accredited by NEB. 

Students’ academic needs and aspirations, apart from perpetual personal care for a high level of academic achievement, disciplinary and attitudinal excellence toward civic responsibilities, are high priorities at Holyland. It is well-equipped with all the requisites for the students of +2 programs. With the objective of imparting qualitative education and nurturing the students into becoming competent global citizens, Holyland has adopted innovative and need-based teaching-learning strategies and methodologies. Project work, direct observation, regular field trips, latest models of teaching-learning methodologies, co-curricular and extracurricular activities are integral parts of this institution.

We feel proud to lampoon that from the very beginning of the establishment of the school results have always been excellent. A few years ago, one of our students—Ramesh Kumar Yadav—attained the stratospheric niche amid his regional contemporaries in the final examinations of plus two-level. We retain good results in both the faculties every year, but the results of the science faculty are more rewarding than the examinations upshots of other streams.
 
Our students are not only better in academic performance also they are competent enough in extra-curricular activities. Many students of this school have participated in district and national level sporting events. The sports and games organized by the HISSAN also involve a large number of our students. Moreover, most students are encouraged to take part in social work so that they become familiar with the current needs of society. They visit old age homes to look after the elderly, provide them the essential things, and give them moral support and hope for living. Similarly, we also conduct multiple visits to the orphanage where they tend to help the needy children with a different variety of items. It not only provides academic knowledge also it enables personal development in the learners.
