Kanchanjunga English Secondary School/College was established to impart quality education at an affordable fee structure at local level. It is purely an academic institution that emphasizes the holistic development of students in order to prepare them to be independent, skillful and confident, disciplined and responsible citizens. The institution has been dispatching adept graduates that can compete in the global arena. The graduates of Kanchanjunga are showing phenomenal performances in job landing sector and higher students in and beyond their native land. In addition, our graduates have become successful in achieving scholarship in various technical subjects, such as medicine, engineering. We give equal focus on both co-curricular and extra-curricular activities to help them expose their academic and supplementary skills to the world.  

Private academic institutions are making commendable contributions to producing competitive and highly skilled human resources. Still, the government has adopted discriminatory and confusing policy for them which are politically wrenched. Such disparity has been stumbling-block for those private institutions; as a result, many institutions are on the brink of collapse. The policy of the government is stand-offish and inequitable. For an instance, the government sometime welcomes the private academic institutions as a part of its campaign, but sometimes creates threat in their existence by spreading rumor that private academic institutions are established only for commercial purpose. Due to such vague policy of the government, private academic institutions are in limbo.

I appeal to the government to implement encouraging and private-institution friendly policies for the sustainable development of the education sector in Nepal. Despite such disparities and quandary, Kanchanjunga College is showing its solidarity and commitment to imparting quality education to produce competitive human resources that can be a great privilege for the country to cope with unprecedented challenges in the 21st century.

The institution is in this position due to cordial relation and mutual cooperation of the parents, guardians, students and well-wishers. The contributions of devoted, long experienced and highly qualified faculty are always worth commendable in bringing the institution to this condition. I, therefore, express my commitment to all the students and the guardians that our institution is always eager to impart quality education as per the need, will and aspirations our students, guardians and supporters.
