Lord Buddha Secondary School/ College, an English medium educational institution, was established in 2002 AD. It is located in Sahi Marga, Biratnagar-10. The institution runs its programs from play group to post graduate level under the ownership of Universal Lord Buddha Academy Biratnagar Pvt. Ltd. It has been running +2 programs in various streams, such as science, computer science, management and hotel management affiliated to Nation Examination Board (NEB). It offers BBS and MBS programs in association with Tribhuvan University. Currently, the institution has around 600 students in the school wing, 425 in +2 science, 550 in +2 management, 200 in bachelor and 20 are in master’s level, i.e. MBS (first semester).

The institution is rich in physical infrastructures. It has its own hi-tech buildings with spacious and sophisticated class rooms, excellent library and laboratories with sufficient books and equipment for each student. It has a digital library that facilitates full text collection of documents and faculty publication. It also provides wide range transport facilities.

The institution has adopted modern teaching pedagogy. Its teaching methodology is entirely different from its contemporaries to ensure that each and every student gets the basics of education in their early period. Another significant feature is that the institution delivers psychoanalytical academic counseling to individuals on the basis of the internal results to improve the quality of students. Besides, pre-medical and pre-engineering classes, sufficient and brush-up revision classes and regular periodic and monthly examinations with immediate results are the inseparable features of this institution which are rare in other academic institutions in the eastern region of Nepal.

So, we have been providing100% full scholarship to Lord Buddha Entrance toppers, 75%full scholarship to Lord Buddha 2nd entrance topper,60% full scholarship to Lord Buddha 3rd to 10th entrance topper, 50% full scholarship to Lord Buddha 11th to 20th entrance toppers, 50% full scholarship to orphans, handicapped, downtrodden and destitute pupils, and 50% of scholarship to players participated in district level, PABSON and NPABSON sporting events.

The college has remained in the list of top selections since last 15 years by the students and guardians in the eastern region because of its result-oriented and value based education impartation. It has 90-92% pass result in college level. Since we give focus on innovative and cognitive quality education, our students have been successful in further career courses like medical, engineering, nursing, MOE, embassy scholarship exams, IOM, IOE and abroad programs. For an instance, Ramashis Yadav got full scholarship in 2075 for MBBS course by MOE (TU). Similarly, Shankar shah got full scholarship in 2075 for BE by Pokhara University and Najvin Parbin has been awarded a full scholarship by Pakisthan Embassy for MBBS. In this regard, our products are employable in the global market. They have occupied their the sterling positions in banking, engineering, medicine etc inside and beyond the country.
