Moonlight Secondary School (MOLISS)

Affiliated  to  the  National  Examination  Board (NEB) of  Nepal,  Moonlight  Secondary  School (MOLISS), Kumaripati, Lalitpur, is the result of the joint effort of principals of various renowned schools  and  highly  motivated  professors,  lecturers   and   educationists,  who  are  qualified, dedicated   and   experienced.  With  the  state-of-the-art  facilities,  MOLISS  is  committed  to providing quality education of the international standards. Besides, what MOLISS takes pride  in is its best teaching faculties who can create a deep impact in the students’ career and whole life. It offers education for the +2 level under NEB in Science, Humanities and Management streams with extra care in an effective way. Acknowledging the fact that the best schooling is therapeutic, supportive, collaborative and proactive, MOLISS believes in providing the sound environment for the students’ overall development which will, in turn, bring about a sense of responsibility, social welfare  and  competence  in  them  to  face  the  challenges  of the 21st century. It is best to apply as soon as you know that this college is an option for you. While there is no deadline for applications, we have limited vacancies and we follow the first come first served policy, so apply early for your best chance of being admitted.

Admissions are open in Grade 11 in Science, Management, and Law faculties.

Admission is given on the basis of an Entrance Examination which is mandatory and comprehensive, and your SEE GPA will also play a significant role in getting the scholarship. Subsequently, a one-on-one interview will conducted by the sponsoring college/ institution, which is a must for eligible candidates to attend accompanied by their parents.

Some of our co-curricular activities include debating, elocution, essay writing, painting, drama, project, and excursions.

Our Library is full of text-books, reference books/encyclopedias, and journals/ newspapers/magazines to keep the students well-informed. We have transportation facility as well.

Yes, students should attend on online entrance exam. This is needed to ensure a smooth and fully supported transition to the college and is by no means a “pass/fail” test. Parent interviews will also take place to ensure that their perspectives towards education are logical and relevant for the school’s values and learning goals.

The official pre-admission process begins from Ashadh month every year but as the seats are limited, you will be able to reserve seats prior to the date once you are notified of your selection.

Scholarships are provided on the basis of merit as well as criteria set by National Examinations Board (NEB). Students/ candidates are required to appear in scholarship tests held by the respective institution for which the college admission desk provides you with the dates and time of the test. Since the selection process is transparent, fair and competitive, it is mandatory for all candidates to pass the scholarship tests to acquire a scholarship for higher education.
