"Technical education must be a basic privilege for all despite governmental disparities"

Your school is providing quality education with a minimum fee, which is impossible for the same quality in Butwal. How did you make it possible?
It is possible because of a triadic camaraderie between students, parents, and school management. Acknowledging our students' and parents’ problems, we provide motivational classes, which turn out to be fruitful as encouragement that shows the right path to our students. 

What’s your vision that steers the school up within the next five years?
My plan is to introduce technical programs in the school so that all the students can acquire requisite technical skills. Without technical education, we cannot produce the adept human resources, which is a prerequisite for nation-building. And it is a universal truth that the development of the country is not possible without skilled human resources. We want to help the nation by producing techno-savvy.

What problems are prevalent among today’s learners?
In the market, a variety of electronic devices are available. The teenage students seem to be busy using a range of smartphones. It has affected to some extent, so we are making an effort to distinguish the pros and cons of using a smartphone. Indeed, technology sharpens the mind of teenagers as well as exacerbates their health and creativity level.

The trend of students heading to the city central area from this local area is still an existing phenomenon. What efforts have you made that ensure students stay here for quality education?
Since I am the chairperson of HISSAN Rupandehi, I expect no students go to Kathmandu for plus two studies ignoring Rupandehi district. When I reminisce about the past, I can proudly say we have made a difference in motivating students. This could be true it’s the mindset of students to go to Butwal from here and to Kathmandu from Butwal, which has become a matter of great concern for us regardless of our efforts of ensuring quality deliverance at the local level. We do not compromise on quality education so the performance of our pupils is satisfactory. 

What do you expect from the local body in relation to providing quality education?
Now, all the responsibilities of secondary education have been bestowed on the local government. Today’s demand is technical education. Technical education from grade nine to twelve has been given to government schools only that eventually emasculate the vigor of private schools that have a big role in educating modern societies. Therefore, the local government should consider the contributions of private institutions while making education policies vis-à-vis technical education. 

What message would you like to convey to common people?
Good educational institutions are in every nook of the district. So, I request students to study plus two education in their local or adjacent schools. For instance, a large number of good educational institutions have been established in Sainamaina municipality. Parents and students should dilly in pursuit of quality education. Quality education is available in Sainamaina.
