Spiral Galaxy Higher Secondary School (SGHSS) is one of the independent self-governing schools affiliated to Higher Secondary Education Board of Nepal. Established in 2003, located at Simpani, Bagar, Pokhara-1, the college has been running under the management of a team of highly valued academicians and scholars who have professional experience and sincere dedication to the education field of the nation.
Within a short span of time after it had come under the new management system, SGHSS has been successful to stand out as a reliable institution in today’s competitive market. With the motto of Education for Civilization SGHSS has been maintaining the academic ethos and carry out the innate potentials of the young learners and contribute the nation building by producing a professional, efficient, and capable human resource. SGHSS has been running the teaching learning activities from the pre-nursery to +2 level. The +2 level consists of two popular streams of Science and Management affiliated to HSEB.

Spiral Galaxy library is rich in resources for learning and research. It is spacious and comfortable enticing students to easily spend hours in it. The library has a large collection of text and reference books. It also has an active subscription to many national and international journals and magazines. It is well organized and indexed.
Spiral Galaxy has 24 hour high speed internet access which has enhanced the teaching learning, be it in library or multimedia room.
Located in a peace and calm environment, Spiral Galaxy provides hostel facility with proper guidance of teachers available on any given time as per the requirement of students. The hostel rooms are spacious and clean. Excellent hygiene is ensured through regular maintenance. The hostel recognizes the need for students to feel at home and comfortable.
Spiral Galaxy has its own fleet of comfortable buses which ply through major places in Pokhara Valley. These cater to the needs of the day scholars.

Admissions are open in Grade 11 in Science, Management, and Law faculties.
Admission is given on the basis of an Entrance Examination which is mandatory and comprehensive, and your SEE GPA will also play a significant role in getting the scholarship. Subsequently, a one-on-one interview will conducted by the sponsoring college/ institution, which is a must for eligible candidates to attend accompanied by their parents.

Our Library is full of text-books, reference books/encyclopedias, and journals/ newspapers/magazines to keep the students well-informed. We have transportation facility as well.

Yes, students should attend on online entrance exam. This is needed to ensure a smooth and fully supported transition to the college and is by no means a “pass/fail” test. Scholarships are provided on the basis of merit as well as criteria set by National Examinations Board (NEB). Students/ candidates are required to appear in scholarship tests held by the respective institution for which the college admission desk provides you with the dates and time of the test. Since the selection process is transparent, fair and competitive, it is mandatory for all candidates to pass the scholarship tests to acquire a scholarship for higher education.
