The school possesses world–class infrastructure supported by state–of–the–art facilities to provide a kaleidoscope of enriching educational experiences for the holistic development of children under our care.

The school environment is calm and intentional in order to inspire and facilitate effective learning. All the buildings including the Extra–Curricular Activity (ECA) block incorporate shockproof features to withstand earthquakes and ensure the safety of students. The classrooms are spacious, air– conditioned and equipped with broadband Internet connection, CCTV and a fire alarm system. The design of the buildings is both aesthetic and utilitarian, and also reflects Nepalese architecture and heritage.

The school has two fully equipped multipurpose halls, well–stocked libraries, modern Science and Computer laboratories, Cafeteria and a Health Care Centre to name a few of the facilities available. A dedicated Extra Curricular Activity (ECA) block presently under construction will provide facilities such as swimming, futsal, several instrument–based music studios and dance facilities, sports and fitness gyms as well as medium–based visual art studios designed with the purpose to broaden avenues for students to unearth and nurture their diverse talents.

We also help students make an informed decision on higher education regarding the courses that best suit their interest and career goals. Our students are counselled by a professional Counselor as to what likely career they should pursue based on their interest and aptitude so that they can succeed in life.

The library forms the core of our literacy programme, and is the hub for all research and inquiry projects. We have two spacious and well– stocked libraries – one designed for Elementary students (Grade 1-8) and one for Secondary students (Grade 9 and above). Trained librarians, who are knowledgeable and experienced in Library Management oversee the library programme. A collection of printed resources (books, magazines, periodicals, research manuscripts, encyclopedias, subject-wise reference books, etc.) is available for students and teachers. Separate rooms are available for individual–study as well as for group discussions and presentation.

We have the latest educational tools including Information and Computer Technology (ICT) for use in our Science and Computer Laboratories to enhance learning experiences, and develop critical thinking and problem–solving skills. Each of the academic wings on completion, will have its own Computer Laboratory. Subject specific laboratories (for Physics, Chemistry, Zoology and Botany) are provided for Secondary school students (Grade 9 to 12/ A Level) to gain a deeper understanding of concepts as well as practical knowledge of the subject. A general science laboratory is available for Elementary school students (Grade 1 – 8).

Qualified and registered nurses are on hand to provide first aid services for students. Minor injuries and illnesses are treated in the school Health Care and Nursing Unit. The infirmary has sufficient beds and a separate isolation room for use, in case of any student suffering a contagious ailment. An experienced Medical Practitioner will regularly visit the school to check student’s health. In addition, special health camps like Eye check–up, Dental check–up, etc. will be organized from time to time to create awareness about health issues among students and parents.

The school provides air–conditioned vans to transport the day students to and from the school, ensuring comfort and safety of the students availing the service. Every van will be supervised by a staff member, who will be responsible for coordinating pick–up and drop-off of students at designated stops. Additionally, all vans have a Global Positioning System (GPS) for tracking the vehicle en-route for the convenience of the parents.

For students of grade four and above, we have provision of boarding facilities that are comfortable, secure and homely.

The Boarding houses are located within a short walking distance from the school buildings with separate buildings for girls and boys. All the buildings are equipped with necessary amenities and well–furnished rooms. Every hostel building has an indoor entertainment / activity room as well as a common lounge where the students can study, or enjoy the company of their friends.

Hostel students will be under the care and guidance of an experienced and dedicated Hostel Parent and Attendants who will be on duty round the clock to ensure the safety and comfort of the students. A visiting doctor and a full– time residential nursing staff will be available to provide first aid services for minor ailments. Parents, who wish to enroll their kids in KWS Boarding House, can obtain a separate brochure and attend a counselling session with the Head of Boarding House/ Hostel Parents.

At KWS, students are given a wide range of choices to engage in varied Co-curricular and Extra-Curricular Activities such as Debates, Quizzes or Games and Sports, Performing Arts (Dance, Music and Drama), Visual Arts, etc. The activities provide students with an avenue to explore their talents, develop new skills and pursue their passion. By engaging in the ECAs, students discover what they are good at, and become motivated to succeed. In addition, they develop leadership, social and life skills as well as an understanding of group dynamics. More importantly, they experience both success and failure which inculcates resilience and an ability to persevere.

The school has a number of dedicated studios for Performing Arts (Dance, Music and Drama), Visual Arts (Fine Art, Fabric Painting, Collage, Sculpture, etc.), Martial Arts (Judo, Wushu and Taekwando) as well as Gymnastics. Students are encouraged to explore and develop their creative and artistic capabilities in instrument–based music studios (Violin, Keyboard, percussion instruments, etc.) and medium–based art studios (Collage, Fabric painting, Sculpture and Fine Art). All students from grade one (1) to eight (8) will have guided Music and Art lessons. From grades nine (9) and above, music and art will be optional.

The school will have a dedicated extra– curricular activities (ECA) building and a sports department with professional coaches and trainers, who will constantly challenge and guide every child to develop their skills, resilience and competitive spirit. The school will have its own swimming pool, outdoor playgrounds, basketball courts, futsal pitch and a well- equipped multi–purpose court under the ECA building, which will be ready soon.

Besides various extra–curricular activities, the students will be engaged in various club–activities as well as community service, which will help to develop a positive attitude, social skills and self–confidence. The goal of involvement in community service is to develop empathy towards the less fortunate, and foster a sense of social responsibility. Students of diverse clubs like Social Service Club, Environment Club, Book Club, MUN (Model United Nations), etc. will be involved in organizing a host of events in the school through which they develop their communication, organizational and leadership skills as well as build up their self-confidence.

Science And Technology Club (STC)

STC is formed to make students brainstorm in the advancements and challenges of today’s generation. It supports them to explore science and technology beyond the classroom so that they can have a clear understanding of today’s world. The club focuses on:

• Running science activities in regular basis.

Art And Culture Club (ACC)

ACC is formed to incorporate different festival moods and cultural celebrations. Today’s generation needs a connection to their own cultural location along with expanding their knowledge with the facts of diverse cultural activities. Hence ACC is formed for this very purpose. The club focuses on:

• Organizing fine art, music and dance competitions
• Running different activities related to creative and cultural arts.
• Celebrating different occasions.
• Organizing School fest.

Social Club (SC)

Social Club is formed to make students responsible towards social issues. It leads the individual from their personal world to the level of understanding social values. So, SC focuses on:

• Organizing different social-awareness programs.
• Conducting social and personal talk shows.
• Run different social activities like blood donation, fund raising to support elderly home/orphanages.
• Organizes social camps.

Readers Club (RC)

RC is a hub to make the students grow intellectually with reading activities and bringing forth their expressions in writings. Reading and writing are the major receptive and productive skills that make a person a good learner. The RC focuses on:

• Organizing different language skill related activities like essay writing, oratory, debate, quiz.
• Organizing interaction programs/Coffee Talk, Book Talk etc.
• Publishing classroom magazine/wall magazine on a regular basis.
• Supporting in publishing KWS Bulletin and magazine.

Sports Club (SpC)

Sports Club is a place to accommodate physical strength along with discipline. It captures the students’ interest in organizing, participating and building a team spirit among the students. It focuses on:
