About College
Social Public School (SoPS) is a co-educational school, founded in 2053 BS (1997 AD) as a community based English medium school. It is being run by a team of qualified, vibrant, professional academicians and versatile educators with a lot of experience in the field. It is aimed for bringing forth the talent inherent in the children, creating ample opportunities in learning and fulfilling the demand of parents and the desires of enthusiastic learners. We, at SoPS, believe that a child’s education is the foundation to his/her success throughout the life. By involving faculty, parents and community members in shared decision-making, we endeavor to constantly create an environment where respect and care are modeled by all.
Our goal is to help each student become a responsible future citizen of the nation. We strive to help all students develop to their fullest potential through the teaching of basic values and academic curriculum which combines with critical thinking, communication, collaboration, time management, creativity and technology. Meet Our Team
Facilities
Hostel facilities are available to students from grade I to X. The hostels are divided into different distinct wings in accordance with the students age, gender and class.
The school provides transportation facilities from and any part of Pokhara valley and western part of Lekhnath Municipality. The route area can be extended according to the necessities.
In this IT world computer education has been a must for the student. Regarding this the school has a computer lab having sufficient number of latest computers.
The school owns a well furnished and well stocked library. The student from every level can have sufficient text book, reference book, journals, newspaper, magazine, encyclopedia, navels etc. Such books, almost all local and national newspaper obviously promote the students ability and career.

Admission is given on the basis of an Entrance Examination which is mandatory and comprehensive, and your SEE GPA will also play a significant role in getting the scholarship. Subsequently, a one-on-one interview will conducted by the sponsoring college/ institution, which is a must for eligible candidates to attend accompanied by their parents.

Yes, students should attend on online entrance exam. This is needed to ensure a smooth and fully supported transition to the college and is by no means a “pass/fail” test. Parent interviews will also take place to ensure that their perspectives towards education are logical and relevant for the school’s values and learning goals.

Scholarships are provided on the basis of merit as well as criteria set by National Examinations Board (NEB). Students/ candidates are required to appear in scholarship tests held by the respective institution for which the college admission desk provides you with the dates and time of the test. Since the selection process is transparent, fair and competitive, it is mandatory for all candidates to pass the scholarship tests to acquire a scholarship for higher education.
